Julie Williams from Impressions Studio and Gallery was our features presenter today. She deviated from the "standard" BNI presentation to tell us about another passion that she has -
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. The organizations mission is to introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture. The services are available for infant loss as early as 25 weeks gestation, or at the discretion of medical personnel.
She donates her time, talent, and resources to families requesting her services, she is not compensated for her time or services. It takes a unique talent and compassion to volunteer for an event that tugs at heart strings.
Julie projected a sample slide show together with music of what she had prepared for a family. It was very moving, all who watched saw a beautiful memory of an infant who's life was short upon this earth.
Mike Gifford from Integral IT Services stand to give his 60 Second Commercial (30 seconds due to the number of members and visitors in attendance). Mike handles the MAC side of the business and Adam Luker (the PC side of the business) always receive outstanding testimonials from the businesses and individuals for whom they perform services.
